Jo Ann Tomaselli ~ Fine Art Photography
When I find myself mad at global events the 1st thing I do is complain.
This is followed by the question: But what can I do about it?
Not often enough do I ask:
How can I put my wishes for a better world into action? How can I serve?
“Our present time is indeed a … critical time
hovering between the wish
and the inability to believe.
Our complaints are like arrows
shot up into the air at no target and,
with no purpose,
they only fall back upon our own heads
and destroy ourselves” William Temple
I imagine Martin Luther King said it best when he wrote:
“Anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve.
You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.
You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve.
You don’t have to know Einsteins’ theory of relativity to serve.
You don’t have to know the second theory of thermo-dynamics in physics to serve.
You only need a heart full of grace.
A soul generated by love.”
Instead of arrows of complaint I’m going to load my quiver with arrows of love, aim for the highest good and see where it leads.
Care to join me?

Wow what a wonderful picture, and the words that follow blew me off my chair; time for action, but first I love this and think as many people as possible should read this and share the love, so I am going to re-blog this, and share on my Facebook page. :-) best wishes and blessings, Charles.

It’s easier for me living in Mexico to load my quiver with arrows of love, shoot them up into ether and actually know what happens after! Thanks for sharing amiga and Feliz 2015!

Maybe we all should be asking ourselves a little more often “What Can I Do?” They say “Love makes the world go round”!
